Check out the Colorado’s website (click the car) for specific instructions BUT, always be sure to bring TWO forms of ID’s such as a passport, piece of mail or something else with your name and street address on it when you go to the Department of Motor Vehicle center! Otherwise, the clerk will not you see and you will have to come back and stand in line again. Allow at least 1-2 hours for entire process.
