Interested in children’s activities?
Check out the ongoing programs at the Golden library (usually free, some require advanced reservations) as well as the free days in Denver (see Denver Free Days).
Parent’s magazine, which can be found at the library, also lists ideas and activities for kids!
Looking for clothing for your child? Come to the “Clothes Swap” (free exchange)! You don’t have to bring clothes, but you may bring clean clothes or other items too small for your child (a day or so before) and get items for free in your child’s size. Usually happens twice a year (click on the clothes for drop off and swap dates).
Want other activities for your kids? AWANA is a faith-based program for children ages 3 years to 6th grade with games, activities, and Bible stories. Classes meet each Wednesday night from 6:25-7:45 p.m. during the school year through the First Baptist Church. For more information, click the AWANA logo above.
